Bong Joon Ho really doesn't like Trump, huh?
Solid premise that satirizes American politics with some not-so-subtle anti-capitalist and anti-colonialist messages.
While it starts off strong, the movie quickly loses focus partway through its second act, ultimately leaving inconsistent characters scrambling through a rushed and confused finale.
Strong performances from Robert Pattinson and Mark Ruffalo are easily the highlight of the film, but there's not much else to write home about aside from a solid soundtrack.
All in all, Mickey 17 was an entertaining enough watch that ultimately fails in cohesive storytelling.
