i really liked it :) i had a great time :)
I love the rom the com and the bit of horror. The gothic horror of the supernatural love interest representing the heroine’s inner turmoil and struggles. i love the ambiguous ending if the monster is real or just her prevention of standing up for herself.

loved loved loved it. im tryna become that gothic girlie like that. didnt know lily rose had their dog in her like that and i think this is the hottest nicholas hoult has ever been in a movie.

I always cut Richard Rich a lot of slack because of my fascination with box office flops and the Swan Princess and Muhammed: the Last Prophet both meant a lot to me growing up but this movie.... was weak. To be fair to him they forced a LOT of edits by Katzenberg and all the pacing was thrown completely off. Had they gone all the way with the original darker film it could have been better. Also more time focused to developing and strengthening characters could have been a big help.

Absolutely loved it, great pacing, compelling characters and gorgeous animation. I loved the continuous coincidences through the movie and how it’s technically a Christmas movie in the spiritual sense. The climax had me on the edge of my seat, a great holiday movie.
