  mikey madison definitely deserved the oscar. 
  however, i have major issues with this story. we have no idea who anora is. she begs vanya to take her back which is so out of character for her. we don’t see any reason as to why she doesn’t want to go back home/have a divorce other than she’s annoyed with her sister? we don’t know anora at all. 
  vanya is horrible horrible horrible. i was so angry the entire movie. 
  the ending????????????…

  watched in my latinx in the 21st century class today. i feel like i went through all of the stages of grief. rey you must be protected at all costs, this country has deeply failed you and all women on both sides of the pro-choice/pro-life argument

  as a romance girlie, i can’t believe i had never watched this movie before. i have nothing intelligent to say about it except that it broke my heart :( “i wrote you. i wrote you 365 letters” i’m going to be thinking about that forever. 
  on an unserious note, need me a freak like noah. loyalty and perseverance like that is unheard of!

  re-watched over the break and forgot to log it. just remembered because i’m about to watch another julia roberts movie. love her so so so much.
  the chemistry between her and richard gere is UNMATCHED. absolutely insane.
  the feminism left my body watching this movie so for once i will get off my feminist discourse soapbox.
