Very impressed by Bong Joon Ho and Robert Pattinson's versatility per usual.

The elephant rollie pollies pulled my heart strings.

I felt there was a good balance of politics, environmentalism, science, romance, comedy, and drama.

At this point in modern cinema, Mark Ruffalo and Steven Yeun can keep taking these odd roles for all I care. They are the actual ones with 18 different versions of themselves LOL.

As a Nana fan, this one hits different, for clear reason.

As all of us young artists continue to figure ourselves out, let this film be a reminder that, despite all odds, there will always some reason or someone to keep us keeping on.

"To think back to the lushness of youth. Compared to the cold hue of age."

When our youth is personified, seeing that person much later down the road in a much different light under much different circumstance is quite threatening; it threatens our safety because, all this time, we've been so sure that the memories we hold are and will always be fond. Like seeing your childhood home lived in by a new family or your childhood town being more gray than you thought it was.

Moving far is always hard, but moving on is always harder.

love is more than words. to just have the resolve to grow up and grow into the strengths and weaknesses that it forces onto us alone is impressive. it's brash and it's bold. it meddles with and it frustrates. it's soft and it's warm. the love that we give is, strangely enough, the love that we lose. we leave it to weakened grandparents or loveless friends. we lend it in the food we prepare or the gifts we buy. love…
