Mississippi Burning 1988
Had a chance to revisit this Oscar nominated film on Amazon Prime, which was released 30 years ago (hard to believe). Mississippi Burning still holds up well even after 30 years and I would even argue, it's more relevant than ever. Indeed, there were certain moments of the film where I cringed to see how much of the bigotry and racism still exist in our culture today and probably has been exacerbated by our political climate in 2018.
