Fascinating in construction and execution. Blanchett is masterful.
As I approached the end of the film, I wondered what evidence we had actually seen of Tar’s cancellable offenses, and the answer is, of course, not much. The vibes are off, certainly, but the movie decides to leave her actual crimes ambiguous.
As a cellist, appreciate the time spent covering Elgar’s concerto, a truly spectacular piece of music.
The ending made me lose my shit.
