The Lost City of Z 2016
Has some tonal issues, mostly due to it’s colonialist subject matter, however it ultimately succeeds as a cohesive and thoughtful film. Ending sequence is incredible. I may just be a Robert Pattinson fan boy, but the film left me wanting more from his character. I felt like his last scene could’ve been a 10 minute monologue that really delves in to his perspective. Overall a must watch yet likely won’t revisit for a while.
