How in the actual fuck did this movie win an Oscar and Palme d'Or! Either I don't understand this movie at all or the way these films are judged is completely fucked.

I don't know how to feel about this film. On one hand, some of the key beats in this film were really funny while some of the other beats completely missed the landing. In some way, it felt like a indie film. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I also can't help but wonder why the film's dialogues sounds so forced and why the performances were so one note. Despite all these points, I couldn't stop watching... Perhaps that's the biggest victory for the makers of this film. I genuinely hope they correct these shortcomings in the upcoming sequel.

I don't like leaving bad reviews on films in general. But this one really tested my endurance.
Animal, by Sandeep Reddy Vanga is a nauseating experience filled with grotesque, unnecessary violence. It's essentially roid rage made into film. The misogyny and regressive undertones in this film is genuinely concerning.
I feel like I need a shower once I have seen this film.

Please don't watch this film. If you do, then go at your own discretion.

P.S: This is unnecessary too long. Beware for a 3 hour 20 minute slog fest!
