Three Colours: Blue 1993
A beautiful, heartwarming, and artistic piece. The symbolic role reflecting the themes of liberty, personal freedom, and emotional isolation of the character Julie (Juliette Binoche) is truly underappreciated. The mixed feelings of grief and loneliness are deeply moving. The work of Krzysztof Kieslowski is both philosophical and emotional, making him one of the most underrated directors.
