  Horror movies are not my favorite but "His House" was very good! Possibly, what I thought was most interesting, besides the great suspense and psychologically unsettling scenes, is the actual drama-like tone of the movie. The main characters are notably African refugees seeking asylum in a new country. Since the first scenes, though, it is clear that they are bound to face a life of discrimination in this new Country that they arrive. The two refugees suffer unspeakable threats to…

  An entertaining and, at some moments, even inspiring movie. An adventure with great views of a (possible?) post apocalyptic world full of new and dangerous mutated creatures, where young adults, like our hero Joel, have to step up and literally face monsters to survive their adulthoods. Plus, there's a dog, big star in this movie! 🐾
