  so i guess the man who shot liberty valance, django unchained, rango, and that one scene in the lego movie (previously the only westerns i’ve seen) are too genre subverting and actually were making fun of cowboys the whole time. because between this and hondo… i guess i don’t really care for westerns like i thought. there goes that 5-month-long phase! appreciate messaging but uhhh wish i didn’t have to sit through 166 min of it delivered like this

  i fear this movie turned me into a toddler kicking my feet and clapping the whole time (much unlike the ACTUAL toddler the sicko next to us brought to this movie…. like…… isn’t the point of the hunger games that children have NO PLACE HERE). as a Book Reader i have been waiting for 2.5 years and maybe should have been more disappointed by all of the cut scenes but goddamn they selected them perfectly (okay except for clemensia’s story…
