  no matter what's happening in the plot, every character makes sure to put that shit on in every scene.

  Lovecraftian goth hoes will like this. period pieces are always so impressive to me. great performances from the entire cast, really strong world building. made me really wanna play Bloodborne again

  tough movie to watch with my cats in the room

  another korine movie depicting the abhorrent and wild ways that neglected and impoverished people live and breathe, going to great lengths to showcase characters with day-to-day dialogue, relationships and senses of community. This movie & Kids could both benefit massively from having more plot and storytelling period, but Gummo especially has a really upsetting and sickly vibe that feels very normal and real that I don't find in a lot of other American films, especially to the full degree this movie goes
