Adolescence 2025
Next level achievement in the history of "one-shot episode" pulled off by every episode, and each feels like mini-masterpieces. There's this Thomas Flight video I love where he states the one-shot only works instances where you want to heighten either the realism or the surrealism of a scene. Adolescence uses it to achieve both at the same time. Early contender for show of the year. Stephen Graham has like 3 separate emotional breakdowns in 40 minutes straight. I really need to watch the Boiling Point show after this.
