    This was difficult to watch.
That sound design hit hard. I know that is what everyone says but damn there's a good reason why.
I still do not understand what was Mendoza's intention in making this, especially since he said he did not want to start any political debate.
I appreciate that cold ending, no epilogue, no resolution. Sometimes things just stop and it is done.
This is like 1917 in that it has a super stacked cast, I was getting excited when every actor appeared, especially Michael Gandolfini.

This was fun! I liked it more than I expected.
I appreciate that it is not an action movie, instead I got a "whodunnit" (that word's funny) and I love that.
Thw music was sooo fitting, and the cinematography. I liked the asthetic of the wide lens aperture and the diffusers in the lights:)

I want to wear a white suit listening to Nirvana but I'm afraid I will not look as sexy as my boy Daniel Craig.
Those set designs were everything to me, beautiful and nostalgic.
Guadagnino anda con todo este año.

I don't appreciate the 3.5 hrs runtime, I do appreciate the intermezzo, someone tell old Marty to have one in whatever he does next.

The movie starts with a sequence shot tracking Adrien Brody in the darkness inside a ship, through a multitude of European immigrants, and finally emerging into light, and seeing the statue of liberty. The decision to frame it turned upside down feels a bit in yourbface to the message of the movie, but I cannot think…
