Obviously it’s a great challenge to follow up your biggest hit “Parasite” but this felt like a script and/or edit that was rushed (even though it was delayed a year). You could feel the eyes watching this movie in post and the shots/scenes they didn’t replace thinking “I’m sure nobody will notice that we cut some shit out”. We did. With that said, Bong Joon Ho is still my favorite director and I will see his next movie opening weekend like I did this one

What a mess. I laughed simply because it was hard not to at certain points. It’s very dark and serious at times and other times it’s just plain goofy. The trailer could not be anymore misleading. The main character just stops time for no reason, they never explain it, it never is used in the story. The ending was underwhelming and rushed. Multiple moments of WTf in directing and writing. It’s crazy how many great actors are in this. Coppola is still a legend and artist but what a whack project to bow out on
