Climax 2018
Intense film with superb sound mixing, soundtrack, editing and cinematography. Those long shots with emphasis on the choreographic aspects of the film were amazing.
The fact that there is not a clear protagonist to the film. The constant blue light thrown at the dancers' faces when the dialogs started to lack sobriety. The lights going out and the lack of music leading into an episode of anxiety for the spectator, were the standouts of the film.
As it is common with Gaspar Noé, this provocative film leaves a lasting distressing feel to it. Ultimate worst case scenario of a huge psychedelic bad trip, probably.
