Captain America: Brave New World 2025
Wow (derogatory). Listen, Marvel movies get rated differently, but even within that universe and studio specific scale this one is TERRIBLE. The folks who brought us Black Panther and Shang Chi can’t write for a Black Captain America? I mean, Anthony Mackie is TRYING but garbage in, garbage out. Some distractingly terrible CGI sequences (hulk fight looked like a video game) to wrap this disaster up. The plot? No. But the worst part of this slow mo horror was the villain’s costume design. It looked like a 90’s spoof movie villain.

A Complete Unknown 2024
This movie is for a) timothee chalamet fans and then b) Bob Dylan fans. As I fall into the second category, I had a fine time but was disappointed that we only covered 3 years!! An artist whose career spans 6 decades!!!! Guys 🤨 I know we had to differentiate between this and I’m Not There, but I’m ready for parts 2-10 now. A solid 3.25 for me based mostly on the gorgeous set and costume design and that it’s fun to listen to Dylan tunes for a few hours.
