Eggers certainly did not hold back their artistic vision on this one, my god 😅
Whilst there were scenes I did enjoy quite a lot, this was a tough watch for me. Glad to have seen it to experience the outstanding acting from both Pattinson and Defoe but I won't be rushing back to do so again

12 Angry Men 1957
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I can see why this movie is such a classic and is still highly rated today. There was not a single cutaway or graphic, no fancy effects and only 12 main actors. Yet, I could picture the old man stumbling to the door, I can see the dimples in the woman's face and I can see the boy being investigated by the police. The writing was well constructed and left me wanting more. They may have had reasonable doubt about the case but I sure as hell did not about this film.
