  This movie somewhat infuriated me, but I think it's because I saw a lot of my younger self in Lady Bird.

  The shitting on where I grew up, wanting to escape to the "exciting" city, thinking I knew better than everyone else in my life, even the coasting my grades in an all girl's school.

  I did all of that, and you know what, it made me more depressed than my boring ass life in my home town ever did. In fact I moved home and found out way more about myself than I ever did trying to make it in the city.
