Jujutsu Kaisen 2020
First season was a vibe. Second fell off a cliff, with inconsistent animation, and frankly a story that is at its core basic af (basically curses want to take over the world) yet they fluff it with convoluted explanations for who's techniques can beat who's, which is totally unearmed and honestly arbitrary. Nosferatu 2024
A surprisingly (or unsuprisingly) faithful adaptation, mostly well acted (except for Frederick). As always for Eggers, the music and atmosphere is on point and truely terrifying at times. I can feel the helplessness of the characters as Nosferatus will overtakes them. Also, there are some shots that are truly beautiful and Eggers trademark historically accurate shots of a bustling German city. Can't ask for much more, but I hope his next movie is a story I haven't heard before. This…
