Actually one of my favourite Tarantino films. For a filmmaker who likes to bend history to his own liking, I wonder if he can imagine a world where there are no “Ni**ers” but just black people.
Partial to the ‘eat the rich’ genre but this was a bit cringe for me in places, and not the intended cringe I’m supposed to feel I don’t think… plus it doesn’t really fall into that category as the film doesn’t really critique that side of things. They just attracted a mad man.
It’s cool though, enjoyable. Oliver’s obsession with Felix is kinda close to how I interpreted Nick Carraway relationship with Gatsby when i read The Great Gatsby. Except for the sociopathic tendencies.
