I think my favourite film I’ve seen by Bergman, for its twisted tale of duality told in the confrontational black and white precision where every camera movement, close up and cut extend the psyche of the characters on screen. One of the best introduction/title sequences in a film, felt like that feeling when yur on a water slide and you can’t lift your head up to look ahead of you because you’re moving so fast that you’re head is paralysed against the force of momentum. That but in a cinema seat.
