I would’ve given this mainly incoherent masterpiece three stars but I’ll give it 1/2 an extra star for a young and handsome Ewan Mcgregor’s ravishing dance moves and another 1/2 star for this to be the only tv show I’m aware of to feature a dance routine with a pantomime camel shitting everywhere.

The Blood on Satan's Claw 1971
Extremely harmful in its depiction of rape. On the other hand it uses its fetishistic elements to create an unpleasant atmosphere of the “church” being subverted. But the main trouble I have here, aside from its extremely patchy plot and almost stereotypical script, is how the church are the good guys. It’s a bit black and white in terms of morals, and it mainly just serves as an English historical folklore nightmarescape.
