Burning Days 2022
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The first half of the movie was great—the dialogue, plot, music, and camera shots, everything was awesome. However, in the second half of the movie—especially after the 2nd confrontation in the lake—I felt like everything was rushed and passed on a bit hastily. The social and political messaging (again, at first) was really well expressed, however once again to the end it became so diluted with side narratives and (social and political) signaling that it made the main points weak. Regardless, It was an interesting watch that once again affirms that good Turkish cinema is not dead.
