A film everyone should watch- Elliot Page was so good. I can’t imagine how emotionally exhausting it is to not only have to defend your existence to people but also comfort those who are well meaning about how difficult your transition has been for them.

In many ways this was beautiful, mesmerising and completely distracting…from what is a truly rotten core.
It’s insulting to compare this movie to Barbie- which I’ve seen many reviews doing. I felt dirty after watching this. I honestly don’t know what else to say.The opposite of empowerment.

Murder Is Easy 2023
I don’t know what the director was attempting to go for here, but the whole thing was visually jarring with no sense of technical cohesion. From the weird angular shots inserted way too often, to the catastrophic choice of colour grading (grass shouldn’t be neon green), I found the technical elements so distracting. Don’t get me started on the same extremely distracting bright white light coming in from the “windows” in almost every indoor scene.
