  Despite some fun and entertaining performances, I felt disappointed by what felt like a virtue signaling, triumph over the bad guy type of story. It was maybe just a little too simplistic in its storytelling in my opinion.

  Watched at CIFF.
  The first half of this movie was very cool to watch. We’re seeing Anora thriving in her job, she’s clearly good at what she does and is valued at the club. However, after falling in love with a client, her life unravels in the second half, we see a disempowered version of Anora, leaving us feeling bad for her.
