i don’t agree with others that this movie was sad at all! it was such a beautiful telling about the power of knowledge and autonomy (aka girlhood). while the crowd at the theatre was far from ideal, it was still personally one of the most impactful and meaningful movies i’ve seen in a while. def a new fav!
