couldn't make it more than 15 minutes in to this film and i don't think it deserved even that much watch time. as a young queer person facing very real struggles of poverty and ongoing societal collapse, it felt like such an insufferable sob story that i don't have the time for. i couldn't find it within myself to care about any of the characters more than i do for the ant crawling across my desk at the moment.
