I dont think director and writer Martin McDonagh has ever heard the word woke at least watching his movie it feels like that word doesn't exist.
and he's filming midgets again. All though he uses the M word and all the words to be frank , There is real sympathy for all these troubled characters. I forgot just how heart warming this movie is. You get the drama, the controversy the laughs and a deeply personal story for every character.
I also forgot Peter Dinklage was in this film , he's the king

Not to undersell Bong Joon Ho's mastery as a director, this is one of the most creative sci-fi's I have seen in a while but this movie needed a strong lead and with Robert Pattinson it got one.
I first noticed Pattinsons skills in the film High life. The dude can convey so much from just his facial expressions. The range he has, I don't think any other actor is doing what he is doing right now and Mickey 17…Translated from by

River Wild 2023
number 1 reason to watch this is to see Adam Brody brake out of his usual type cast role. I have been a fan of his sense the O.C so its cool to see. River wild is pretty telegraphing but surprisingly intense for a pg-13 thriller.
