  Lovely! This was right up my alley. I feel like paul mescal’s character is underdeveloped compared to sophie. maybe that’s because I’ve been a little girl, but I’ve never been a father. I also think we didn’t need the flash forward to Sophie’s life to have a satisfactory ending. But it’s beautiful and nostalgic and contemplative!
