I’m fairly new to experiencing David Lynch films (as of writing this). I find it so fascinating how his films feel so unfiltered, yet so deliberate with each scene, moment and shot. It’s strangely paradoxical and it works so well, especially here.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I don’t know what you’d call this genre of storytelling, but I love stories that start with some level of romance and you see it gradually evolve into thriller/horror.
Wes Craven’s past catalogue I’ve seen hasn’t been my cup of tea, but this one is great.
The protagonist gave me a a strange mixed reaction of frustration earlier on, I also still empathize. I wouldn’t know how else to react when you have the weight of people’s lives in your shoulders
