  when the camera panned to the beatles spotlight on john lennon... absolute cinema

  in all seriousness rocketman is a moving and charming film. as far as biopics go, the movies depiction of elton is as balanced as it can be - he is sympathetic but also realistically flawed while still being a person we root for. overall rocketman is a very fun and campy movie that is unapologetically "elton"; i just wish its character dialogue and writing were a little…
