  The thing about THE MONKEY…

  I honestly have no idea what Stephen King’s story was like, but I just can’t help but feel that Osgood Perkins intentionally wanted to have a good time with this.

  Yes, I watched DOG MAN and HEART EYES in the same day. Not the best double feature but a good time nonetheless.
  Anyways, I'm personally a big fan of holiday horror movies. Two of them happen to be Valentine's Day related (VALENTINE (2001) & MY BLOODY VALENTINE (1981)), so I was very excited to add HEART EYES to my VDAY rewatch list!
  … I probably won't add it, honestly. It did its job as a slasher and had really great kills…

  I would say that this is a kid’s movie, but the father and son who came to see it ended up leaving half way through, so… 

  There was so many flaws. HORRIBLE writing. TERRIBLE acting. Bland story. Annoying characters. 
  It felt so dull and lifeless from start to finish. Eye-rolling regret started to enter my soul maybe 20 minutes in. 
  I’m not even trying to be a bitch, but I really can’t think of anything I genuinely like about this.…
