Shrek Forever After 2010
Not a bad movie. Not a very good Shrek movie though.
Definitely the most dramatic of the 4, but also this movie contradicts Shrek’s characterization in the first movie, as I talked about in that review.
Also I wonder what Lord Farquaad was up to in the “Shrek was never born” timeline. Wouldn’t all the fairytale creatures be captured and not in Far Far Away? Hmm

This movie is so iconic.
My biggest note is that the whole “they judge me before they even know me” stuff kinda sorta comes out of nowhere, considering Shrek, dare I say, LOVES to be seen as freakishly scary and dangerous. It kinda turns the movie into the very thing it so goes out of its way to be against.
The characters and acting more than makes up for that blunder though.
I never noticed that the 3 blind mice are still blind when they turn into horses.

Daffy and Porky are literally the ONLY looney tunes duo that don’t hate each other/ wanna kill one another.
This feels like a 40’s short and a nostalgic 2000’s movie all at the same time.
Farmer Jim is the best character (outside of the main duo)
