  No women discovered their sexuality by insterting stuff into ourselves. Yorgos seems to struggle to find the clitoris. Both literally and figuratively. The movie was so much fun ngl, but please if hollywood must do movies about women’s stories for gods sake its time to let women do it. Regardless of its lack of understanding of women, worn out and harmful ideas on sex work ‘empowering’ women, it was incredibly funny, visually and intellectually entertaining.   fun story;

  i mentioned mike leigh on my personal statement without watching any of his movies thinking i’ll probably like them anyway (totally my teachers fault). Then on my skype interview the guy brought it up and was like so ‘why do you like mike leigh ?’ and i was like UMM WHO THE HELL IS HE ? then i felt so bad that i didn’t leave the house for three days and watched all his movies. he’s one of my favs now.
