Visually breathtaking!! Its slow, deliberate pace feels purposeful, building on the isolation and pain of immigrants in the US after fascism. It dives into the cost of legacy, ambition, sacrifice, trauma, xenophobia and oppression whilst dismantling the notion of the “american dream”. The performances are strong, and every aspect of the film mirrors brutalist architecture…raw, concrete, and unyielding.

Back in Action 2025
Tenia esta película de background noise pero it was a fun, feel-good movie! Action scenes were pretty unrealistic and not true to physics🤠 (the plane crash) and the plot has been done before BUT Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx work comedically very well together and their subtle chemistry felt natural. Loved seeing Cameron back on screen!!
La hija was so annoying and entitled for no reason👋🩴😀🥊

Mufasa: The Lion King 2024
The visuals were gorgeous. I enjoyed the story and empathized with Taka at the beginning, his father rooted insecurities, narcissism and deceitful morals eventually driving him to become Scar. However, this transformation felt abrupt and rushed. Although predictable, seeing them grow, build their bond, and defend each other made the ending all the more heartbreaking. Emotional depth was better than in the previous live action remake. Lin manuel contributed some catchy songs, but the music in the more dramatic moments could have been more impactful. 🦁 🌅 🦒 🦓
