This film is so effective because of the way it uses perspective. I was mesmerized, entranced by the visuals and horrified at the same time. I can’t stress enough however effective the use or perspective is. I am in love with how the camera is used here. It’s also very experimental at times and I can’t stress how much I loved that.

While it isn’t perfect, its dreamy qualities, outlandish characters, and thematic core make this a highlight by themselves. The unique cinematography is on a league of its own and build the character of the film in every way. The intimacy this film provides is not only intrusive but also necessary to tell a story of detachment and the search for permanence. This is exaggerated, over the top yet uniquely human and grounded. This juxtaposition is jarring but definitely the correct choice needed to enhance the film. Also, the ending slaps hard.
