  If you love live action Looney Tunes inspired violence and quips with some romance and action thrown in then this is the perfect date night movie. There were several laugh out loud moments of inventive chaos and the story keeps you guessing as to what wild level they’ll take it to next.

  It’s a slick Soderbergh movie with nice haircuts, fancy clothes, and a lot of lamps. I sort of wish it leaned more into the tells liars have at the highest level of deception but there’s still a lot of grown up, high stakes intrigue to make this worthwhile.

  Unexpectedly sentimental and sweet, it works best when the pace is frantic but suffers from some runtime bloat. I can’t help but feel that if this lap-dance clocked in at under two hours it would have been significantly stronger because the beginning and end are masterfully mesmerizing.

  In terms of much-discussed “graphic/gratuitous” depictions of nudity and sex, I thought it was actually fairly tame for the subject matter and never felt especially exploitative, but for what was described to me as “the Gen Z soft-core porn version of Showgirls,” it was rather heartwarming, occasionally very funny, and, at times, heartbreakingly tender.
