  A nightmare for everyone involved somehow combined into a fairytale whirlwind romance. Feels like cartoons where you get shocked and you can see your whole skeleton.

  I like where it finds different ways to discuss how companies (and I guess the US in general) attempt to distill humans into pure function, bodies for labour or reproduction – a lot of them are morbid, but an early standout for me is a very tender sex scene between Pattinson and Ackie's characters where they're just enjoying each other, intercut with speeches about how the colony ship is allowed to procreate as much as they want when they arrive and "spread their seed across the galaxy".

  Really boring/predictable/trope-filled plot that would be better off leaving out some of its exposition altogether but idc it’s just so good and fun and energetic and atmospheric and the music is so perfect and the visuals are so well crafted. Hunter Schafer I love you
