Josie and the Pussycats 2001
This is like the only good thing that happened in 2001 (probably)
and I couldn’t even appreciate it back then because I would have hated this despite being the exact demographic it was aimed toward. The satire in this film was so heavy and hilarious that it reached through space and time to slap me in face in 2025 and say, “Get over yourself! This movie is fun and good.” It IS fun! And good. I’m doodling hearts around Parker Posey’s name in my mind always but she’s so wonderful (and relatable) in this. ❤️🔥Translated from by -

Thoroughly predictable but with some fun quirks that make it worth a watch. That’s not a knock on the movie; I just love FNV a lot. This movie is a little Fallout-y, actually. Probably why I loved it.

Kraven the Hunter 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The Pumaman but this time he’s got Daddy Issues and a brother he’s possibly fucking.
This movie is so bad but also so good. The dialogue and editing are the worst things about it, I think, but also are what makes the movie so damn fun to watch.
There’s a part where, when explaining she was in Africa to visit her grandmother, Calypso says, “My grandmother died soon after that trip. I never saw her again.” “I never saw her…
