This was so beautiful, emotional, cinematic, and a perfect follow up to her music video for “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)”.

The makeup and prosthetics they used on Ariana to make her look older were impressive and I feel like it’s a good depiction of what she could look like at that age. Still so beautiful!

If I was rating based on my enjoyment alone I would probably give it a 3/5, and if I was rating on quality alone I would probably give it a 4/5, so I think 3.5/5 is a fair middle ground. As a lover of comedies I’m glad I finally watched this one, but it’s not one I see myself ever revisiting.

While I do prefer Evil Dead II, I can’t deny just how bold, impressive, fun, and epic this movie is. Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell’s evolution from The Evil Dead to Army Of Darkness is very admirable, they work so well together!
