This is cinema set in the every day, the real, the ordinary. There is an aching loneliness to this film set in the dark corners of Mumbai. But I was most touched by its grace. The nice part was these film is about women, by women.

Some people call this the city of dreams, but I don't.I think it's the city of illusions. You have to believe the illusion,or else you'll go mad.

Over the years, Adoor has done different films.but Anantaram always feels special for one reason this is the best character study Adoor has ever done.God level Cinema,Indeed!!!

I cannot forget the look of her. I cannot forget her eyes. However much I resist, her presence haunts my mind. The more I struggle, the more she stays with me. However much I fight it, my love for her grows stronger !!

The way Jim Carrey says that "Ok" is to me one of the greatest acting moments of all time. Gets me every fucking time

Joel Barish: I can't see anything I don't like about you.
Clementine: But you will, you will think of things and I'll get bored with you and feel trapped because that's what happens with me.
    Joel Barish: Okay.
    Clementine: Okay.
