  It’s hard to say it, it’s time to say it…this documentary is bad. As someone who actively liked this band as a teenager, this was painful. Here are some thoughts:

  1. For a rock n’ roll documentary with a silly premise, the tone of this was way too serious and austere. I am not saying I didn’t appreciate some of the band mates moments of vulnerability, but the impression I got at the end was I don’t even think Nickelback…

  Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution 2024

  My only disagreement with this movie is that I felt as if a lot of the trans comedians were only highlighted or interviewed to speak about all of the very recent anti trans legislation and political hate. Not saying that isn’t important, but I wish they were able to be better celebrate or speak to their joy and experiences. One of the comedians rightly said “I don’t want to talk about this, but I have to, but I wish I didn’t.”
