See How They Run 2022
I'd say more of a lighthearted comedy if you want to chuckle at dad jokes and puns. Definitely still had to pay attention if you really want to be invested in the murder plot because there's many characters at play, but didn't grab me the way I wanted it to.
Maybe the purpose was really just to emphasize that the British don't actually go to the dentist.

Created a concept of aliens that I had not seen before and almost ran me through the trenches as I slipped and kept thinking too hard. The pain of the known seems to be preferred over the fear of the unknown more often than not. Would I go and change parts of my life if I knew I the pain to come? I guess I could answer for past me. Is it art because of the emotions that it evokes with purpose? Absolutely
Do I ever want to watch this again? Hell no
Probably as close as I'll get to feeling like some of my patients do, which was honestly a very important perspective to gain. The Beautiful Boy telling of the addict story was heart wrenching and tear-jerking. This was a different animal entirely. I had to close my eyes and shut out the horror in front of me throughout - but this is a horror that's real and true. Even scarier.
