Not even rating it because it doesn’t matter if I liked this movie or not, it is very problematic! I wish the music and the main character’s personality and vague concept had been used to make an original story unrelated to historical people and events, because genuinely the orchestration and visuals are beautiful at times. But yeah fuck this movie

First of all this film is funny. Dandy saying step on it and the shot cutting to the driver pedaling as fast as they can. When knuckles reveals he’s Jewish and therefore doesn’t speak Italian, sam directs him to “read the translations,” and he looks right down at captions on the screen. High speed chase through the forest with 1920s cars with pedals. The pacing of the jokes in the dialogues especially blousey and bugsy’s banter could be better but…
