It was a good concept and I did like it. For some reason it just didn't hit the spot that much for me. Other movies like Old and Split by M. Night at least have that "what the hell" kind-of double take moment where it messed with your head and makes you wonder, but this movie got into that at a pace that I did not think was ideal. It dragged out in the beginning, but sped up towards the end, finishing on a interesting note. Towards the mid-bottom of my M. Night list.

Movies like these are always fun to watch because of the possibilities in the story line. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Although made in 2001, it felt like a much older movie. They did a great job with the costume and ape costume designs. They left on such a cliffhanger and the last third of the movie was so rushed…

I think this was a very well produced movie. The plot was perfectly paced, the visuals and CGI were top-notch. I loved the emotion showed and how brief they kept each scene, the perfect length to draw out our thoughts and emotions without getting carried away. Each scene had a purpose and the movie overall was wonderful.
