  Black Bag seems uninterested in getting into the nitty gritty of its treachery to become a smart spy film and instead remains rather superficial, making it more of a cutesy, inconsequential whodunnit. Still fun though!

  Woah. Everything about this is perfect. Pacing. Acting. Story. Soundtrack. Lighting. Composition and camera angles. But what felt most unique to me was the sound editing. The low whirring of the ceiling fans. The startling blows of the newspaper smacking the door and stumbling over the gun. The glass breaking. The footfalls. Unlike anything I’ve seen (heard). Made it cool to imagine as a radio performance.

  This was very uninteresting to me 😬
  Spookiness, ancient history, mysticism, graphic violence - those are all easy ways to hold my attention and yet Eggers grabbed none of mine.
