Loved how strange it was, always here for a weird Robert Pattinson role. Toni Collette also slayed hard and I liked how cute the rolly polly bugs were. Overall a fun watch but they lost me a bit when they just introduced a hot girl with an accent who couldn’t act for literally no reason.

Anora 2024
Very unique and riveting, I put this on to multitask and watch last minute before the Oscars but couldn’t look away. The performances were great especially Mikey obviously. Loved that they basically cast Russian Timothee Chalamet.
I see what people are saying about certain aspects of Anora’s life and motivations being underdeveloped, but I think I just saw the movie as a snapshot of a crazy situation rather than an in-depth character analysis. It focuses more on Anora’s romanticism and desire for control than what it’s actually like to be a sex worker. And I think that’s okay!
