loved it, it felt so literary, as if I was watching a novel unfold - which is how I feel when I watch Iranian films. Someone described this film as "ground zero for the female gaze" and it feels so true. I love women characters that are wonderfully weird like her. such little dialogue, but when dialogue was spoken, the lines were fantastic. Haunting and beautiful and will be thinking about this one for a long time to come.

a cinematic masterpiece. Every frame is *literally* a painting. wow. rlly enjoyed it. it's like 30 mins too long but I'll forgive it.
