I think I may now be a sucker for coming-of-age movies; I literally gasped at moments towards the end of the movie. Very feel-good, yet bittersweet and hones in on a theme of Sonder.

Burnt 2015
As much as I am a sucker for redemption arc stories this one didn’t quite do it for me. It may just be the writing quite honestly, they did too much to make the main character seem cool with much of the dialogue feeling forced and not humanlike. It also ends on a bit of a strange note, leaving a mixed message and making the payoff be that Adam learns anger management.
There’s also french people in this movie.
